HVPS-300 is a specialized high-precision DC HV bipolar high voltage power supply. This means the output connector has three pins – Ground, HV positive and HV negative. Potentials of HV positive and HV negative are always equidistant from the Ground potential. In other words, 4 kV output voltage is produced by generation of +2 kV at HV positive pin and -2 kV at HV negative pin.
Due to high stability of HV bipolar output, the main task of HVPS-300 is powering high voltage high repetition rate Pockels cell drivers commonly used in laser industry.
There are two module versions available:
- bench top ready-to-use in laboratory bipolar high voltage power supply with input 100-240 V AC, simply attached to the electrical power grid
- built-in version for integration into other devices, powered by 24 V DC.
Module’s output is DC high voltage (modification up to 4 kV are available by default, higher voltages are discussable). Maximum output power exceeds 300 W.
The bipolar power supply HVPS-300 contains a fan for active cooling.
By default, all interfaces are analogue. Digital interfaces are available on request.
