Simmer boards
Simmer supplies trigger and maintain low-current discharge in a flashlamp between pulses. This increases lifetime and operation stability of the lamp. We offer simmer boards and encased modules with 24 V DC or 200-240 V AC input, simmer current in 150-800 mA range (up to 1300 mA for high-power version of SBZ-3008). The simmer current value is fixed for encased modules and adjustable for PCB simmer boards. Different customisations are possible to complete your requirements. Some custom simmer supply solutions are presented here.
SBZ-2008 is the most popular 24 V DC simmer supply. Basic parameters are the following:
- Input - 24 V DC
- Max. output voltage - 200 V
- Output current - adjustable by trimpot
- Max. output power - 70 W
SBZ-3008 is a high power modification of the SBZ-2008 simmer supply. This model contains a fan for active cooling and suitable for two-flashlamp operations.
- Input - 24 V DC
- Max. output voltage - up to 500 V
- Output current - 150-1300 mA (factory preset)
- Max. output power - 100 W
SCA-2008 is the most popular AC simmer supply. Basic parameters are the following:
- Input - 200-240 V AC
- Max. output voltage - 200 V
- Output current - adjustable by trimpot
- Max. output power - 70 W
