Custom FLD-6U flashlamp driver
One of US-based defence research laboratories asked us for the solution
to drive 9-flashlamp pump chamber with true rectangular pulses of 1 ms to
10 ms duration.
A solution based on 3-channel FLD‑6U drivers with implemented PWM technique
has been offered. Output current capabilities were set up to
1000 A independently in each channel.
Three units have been produced to work synchroniously on pumping the
sole laser rod.
Custom FLD-6U flashlamp driver
A large French company asked us to provide a custom multichannel flashlamp driver with 2 kV / 2 kA parameters. Standard IGBT based drivers weren’t applicable here and Thyristor based 4‑channel FLD‑6U driver with implemented PFN technique has been offered instead. Multiple units could have been synchronized and driven via RS‑485 interface.
Customized FLD-4U (x3)
A customer from Middle East asked us for the solution to driver 6-flashlamp pump chamber with 100 us to 1000 us pulses. A special demand
was a simple local control of all drivers. An economical solution based on three standard dual-channel FLD‑4U units with modified firmware and
software realizing master-slave architecture has been offered. Every FLD‑4U could be set as ‘master’ and control up to three ‘slave’ FLD‑4U
units from the sole screen. Several sets has been supplied to the laboratory.
Customized FLD‑4U (x12) + CB‑4U (x12)
A French company asked us to provide a solution for a sun simulator for installing at solar panel production plant. There were special demands
related to UI, peak current as well as pulse rectangularity and stability. Twelve identical FLD‑4U flashlamp drivers have been designed to meet
all the customer’s requirements, produced, delivered and installed at the end‑user facility in Germany.
Custom FLD-2U flashlamp driver
For customers whose needs are limited with relatively low pumping energies and powers we offered in the past and can offer now on the special demand a simplified and cost-effective version of FLD‑4U, namely FLD‑2U. Single channel, simple UI, 1.75 kW, up to 900 V are the typical parameters of FLD‑2U drivers. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your inquiry.
CB-4U capacitor bank
It was developed in response to a customer request for a long pulse flashlamps driver
with the limited voltage droop during long 10 ms to 100 ms pulses. We
offered quite a straightforward but economical solution based on
standard FLD‑4U driver equipped with two external extension capacitor
bank units. Now we offer them as a standard accessory for FLD‑4U driver.
Typical parameters are up to 900 V or 112 mF per unit.
